how to use satori
There’s no single path here. This is a free toolkit — not a course. That means you get to move how it makes sense for you.
Start anywhere
Struggling with finding the main idea of a passage? Jump into that. Want to build a study rhythm? Head to the scheduler. You don’t need to go in order — you just need to go where you need to grow. Don't bother to learn solving one variable equations if you're already an expert at it. Time. Matters.
Study your way
- Short on time? Just skim and skip the questions (although we don't recommend this).
- Focused on a score goal? Maybe its best to practice extra on oneprep.xyz (scroll down).
- Just need help with one thing? All question types should have their own section. Enjoy!
Use the built-in tools
The scheduler helps you map a realistic study plan. The mastery log shows how far you’ve come. The mistake-tracker coming soon will turn errors into insight.
Where to Practice
For actual question practice, the best resource we’ve found is oneprep.xyz. It's clean, fast, and gives you real SAT-style questions in the exact digital format you’ll see on test day. By the way, it’s free and open-source, built by a fellow 1550+ scorer who wanted to make practice accessible for everyone.
Throughout satori, you’ll see references to practice questions. All of these are drawn from the official College Board question bank — but they’re not pulled from the full-length tests, so the tests remain new.
You can use OnePrep freely alongside this guide. We’ll link to sets where it makes sense, and you can always explore on your own too. One tip — when you practice on OnePrep, make sure to EXCLUDE BLUEBOOK, this makes it so there are no practice test questions on practice sets.
You don’t have to do everything. You just have to keep moving.
